Glow in the Dark
Miniature Golf Library Fundraiser - Feb. 13
The St. Marys Public Library will be having a Glow in
the Dark Miniature Golf Fundraiser on Saturday, February
13th from 10 am to 2 pm. The library is looking for items
to use for a Chinese Auction. If you would like to donate
items, gift certificates or a basket please call the library
at 834-6141.Donors will be acknowledged on the golf scorecard
received by participants and through signage at the event.
"Heart In The
Arts" Awards at ECCOTA Annual Gala - Feb. 20
The Elk County Council on the Arts (ECCOTA) will present
four “Heart in the Arts” awards during its
Annual Gala on February 20, 2016. The awards, which recognize
contributions to the arts in Elk County, will go to Elk
County Commissioners for providing experiences in the
arts, Julie Mader for providing educational opportunity
and advice, and Ed Schwer for his support of musicians,
artists, performers and writers. Additionally, Sister
Augustine will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement
award (posthumous). The ECCOTA Gala is open to the public
and will be held February 20 at 7PM at The Highlands Restaurant
in St. Marys. The event also includes live entertainment
by Slippery Rock University’s Afro-Columbian Dance
Ensemble, live painting, and live and silent auctions.
Tickets can be purchased in advance, online and at the
door. All proceeds benefit ECCOTA programming. For more
