has announced their second annual
Big Fish Contest, through September 2015. Everyone
who submits a photo will be entered to win the

State Football Ticket Raffle - Drawing on Sept.
The Penn State DuBois Alumni Society is holding
a Penn State Football ticket raffle, with proceeds
benefiting the alumni society scholarship fund
at the campus. 1st prize: 4 tickets to the Oct.
3 game against Army; 2nd prize: tailgating package
including a Penn State cooler, blanket, &
other tailgating items; 3rd prize: Penn State
Athletic Association gift bag. Tickets are $5.00

7th Annual Penn State DuBois Athletics Golf Benefit
date, time & location: Saturday,
August 22, at DuBois Country Club; 8:30 a.m. shotgun
start. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
description: The Seventh Annual Penn
State DuBois Athletics Golf Benefit is planned for Saturday,
August 22, at DuBois Country Club. Sponsored by the
DuBois Educational Foundation, all proceeds will directly
benefit campus intercollegiate athletic programs. The
event will be a four person
scramble with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Registration
opens at 7:30 a.m. Entry fees are $75 per person, and
$300 per team. Entry includes green fee, cart, breakfast,
lunch, on-course beverages, skill prizes, and team awards.

Licenced Engineer Certification Course Begins

conjunction with PennDOT, will offer a certification
course for those interested in becoming a licensed engineer.
The Professional Engineer and Civil Exam Review Course
will offer opportunities for career advancement for
individuals working in engineering fields. The Professional
Engineer and Civil Exam Review Course will be held from
6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesdays beginning August
26, 2015 and concluding on March 2, 2016. Classes will
be held at the PennDOT District 2-0 Office, 70 PennDOT
Drive, Clearfield. The course fee is $1,045, which includes
the required text book and other course materials. For

St. Marys Lions Club Rabies Clinic
time & location: August 29th, from 9-11am
at Benzinger Park
description: Staff of the Elk County
Veterinary Clinic will be vaccinating dogs and cats
over the age of 3 months at the annual Lions Club Rabies
clinic being held at Benzinger park. If animals are
under 1 year a booster will be required in a year otherwise
regular shots are every 3 years. The event will be held
from 9-11am August 29th.
