The Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau has announced their second annual Big Fish Contest, through September 2015. Everyone who submits a photo will be entered to win the following prizes each month:

description: The event will kick off with Mass at 4pm to honor the feast of St. Boniface. After Mass there will be fun for the whole family including food, kid's games, bingo, musical entertainment (including Travis Unplugged) and a beer booth! Open to all community members from all faiths for a fun evening of entertainment and fellowship!

- cassettes, CDs, 8-track tapes, home recorded videos
- books stored where animals may have gotten into them
- books that are damaged or missing pages
- damp or mildewed books
- coverless or spineless books
-food-stained or smelly books
- encyclopedias
- weekly magazines

Relay For Life of Elk County 2015 Event

description: Camp Flutterbye is a free grief camp for children and teens, K - 12, who have experienced a loss through death. Participants enjoy two fun-filled days of activities to help them understand that grieving the loss of a loved one is healthy and normal. PA Wilds Arts Fest

description: The Keystone Elk Country Alliance is teaming up with the PA Wilds Artisan Train to launch a festival showcasing high quality, locally made products from the Pennsylvania Wilds. The event will include live music, artisan demonstrations, and the Artisan Trail coordinators will conduct two free workshops for new artists and retailers interested in learning more about membership benefits and how to apply to the program.
