Blood Donors Needed!
The need for all blood types is constant and ongoing. All community members are encouraged to make an appointment to donate blood in the days and weeks ahead. Appointments are encouraged. Visit www.redcrossblood.org or call1-800-733-2767 to schedule an appointment! Donors with eligibility questions should call 1-866-236-3276. Below is a list of upcoming blood drives in the area.

“All the world’s a stage” is one of Shakespeare’s most frequently quoted passages from one of his most popular fairy tales. As You Like It is a metaphor of love: its power, madness, danger, humor and reflection. Come 'Into the Woods' with us to the ‘green world’ and find out what lies within us all. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and students, and $5 for children 12 and under. Craft Beer Tasting Event

description: Come to a unique craft beer tasting event! This is a one of a kind event for the area that will bring together local home brewers, and a wide selection of craft beers for a great evening of food, entertainment and beer. Sixty to seventy beers will be offered by 8-10 distributors and 6 – 8 home brewers will be participating at the St. Marys Area United Way beer fest. Each home brewer will be bringing two different beers; some of the recipes being prepared include a Blueberry Wheat, a Mango IPA, Winter and Summer Ales.This event is being planned to benefit the St. Marys Area United Way annual campaign, with the assistance of Ken Bish, of St. Marys Beverage, Andy Schlimm, home brewer, Don Bobenreith, Straub Brewery, Mike Heiberger of The Highlands, Margie Schlimm, Rachel Scheiber and Kris Kronenwetter, of the United Way. The Craft Beer Tasting will be held on May 3 from 6-9 at The Highlands (former St. Marys Country Club). Tickets will be $30 per person with an advance purchase, $35 per person at the door and $10 per person for a designated driver ticket, with those tickets available at the door only. Tickets can be purchased at the St. Marys Chamber of Commerce office, the United Way Office, Anderson & Kime Realty and Pam Schlimm’s Beauty Salon, with only 300 tickets being sold.
